November brought us warm, fall days mixed in with chilly, wet days heralding the winter to come. Many of us commemorated Veterans Day in the rain or at home. We also counted our blessings in preparation for the December holidays and the new year fast approaching. Despite the busyness of the season, staff at our eight Georgia law offices continued and will continue to help clients move forward with their cases and lives.

In case you wondered where our eighth and newest office is, we’re proud to report that we are now in Savannah. Attorney Belinda Martin will head up the team there. We will tell you more next month.

We’re not surprised to learn once more that SM&P attorneys have been named Georgia Legal Elites. Randy Sabatini, Belinda Martin, and Anne Thompson de Magaña were chosen by their colleagues to be recognized as three of the state’s best. Find out what it took to get selected.

Our Attorney Spotlight this month features our Legal Elite attorneys, Randy, Belinda, and Anne. Check out their bios to see which one of these exceptional lawyers might best fit your legal case.

Again this year, the firm supported the LiveSafe Resources’ ‘Que and Brew fundraiser. LSR is an organization that addresses domestic violence and elder abuse. Read about this fun event and why it’s important to our community.

In recognition of National Adoption Month, SM&P hosted a celebration of adoption at the Hall County Courthouse in Gainesville. Learn more about this happy event.

We’d like to wish everyone a light-filled Hanukkah and Happy Holidays. Our offices will be closed in observance of the holidays December 23 and 26 as well as January 2 so that our staff can enjoy time with their friends and families. We wish everyone a wonderful season and a joyful New Year!
