Last month, our local groundhogs predicted that spring was near. Capricious Mother Nature tried to kick Old Man Winter to the curb even earlier by gifting us with many warm but damp days. In response, some Atlanta area flowers showed their colors ahead of schedule.

Flashes of colors were also seen throughout the hallways and conference rooms at the firm in anticipation of Super Bowl LVII. The event was a real nail-biter, both the game itself and the days leading up to it. The SM&P office was abuzz with speculation and enthusiasm. Catch up on the doings there during Super Bowl week.

Super Bowl LVII

The firm brightened the dreariness of mid-February by having staff dress in their favorite teams’ colors in anticipation of the biggest game of the year, the Super Bowl. The Friday before the big game, Kaelyn Pruett, HR assistant, encouraged everyone to wear the jerseys or colors of the NFL teams toward which they feel the most loyalty.

Aktion Club Special Olympic Winter Games

Special Olympics Georgia hosted the Indoor Winter Games in Cobb County on the weekend of January 27-29. After being canceled the three previous years due to the pandemic, the annual gymnastics competition was back in full swing at the Cobb Gymnastics Center.
