The short and sometimes teeth-chattering cold days and long, pipe-bursting nights of December did not dampen the holiday spirit at SM&P. We continued working hard to solve the family law challenges for our clients while also spreading seasonal cheer whenever and wherever possible. The December holidays brought us community volunteer opportunities in keeping with the spirit of the season. The firm decided to participate in Legal Aid’s Holiday Project. Find out more about how this project helps families around the area. The firm is always on the lookout throughout the year for ways to assist, honor, or remember veterans. This year, the team participated in Wreaths Across America. SM&P staff joined other local organizations at the Marietta National Cemetery to honor service members laid to rest there with an evergreen garland. Read about the touching events of that day.
