SM&P Team Building and Appreciation Day

SM&P recently held an appreciation and team-building event for their account managers and assistants at Andretti’s Indoor Karting and Games in Marietta. “We consider ourselves a well-oiled machine already,” said NaDia Gray, director of account management. “But we never rest on our laurels. If there’s any way we can become an even more cohesive crew, we will pursue it.”

The teams rode go-carts, played arcade games, and bowled before, during, and after comradery, refreshments, and a light meal. “People who play together stay together,” Melanie Frazier, account manager assistant said. “We may seem to be just laughing and goofing around, but the long-term effect is some very serious mutual respect and bonding that results in a better work environment which, in turn, results in better legal outcomes for our clients.”

“This was not only a team-bonding affair,” said Mary Montgomery, firm founding and managing partner, “but an event designed to express our gratitude for the continuous perseverance and devotion to SM&P and our clients.”

To double the fun, each employee was encouraged to bring someone with them to join in the revelry and to meet co-workers. “We feel even more like a big family now,” said Audrey Bergner, training and development manager. “After meeting some of my coworkers, my husband Jacob understands why I am committed to our department and firm.”

NaDia noted she is looking forward to the future of her department and the work and dedication they provide to SM&P clients. There might just be more team building in the future.
