SM&P Supports Jersey Mike’s to Benefit the Special Olympics

SM&P, in support of the Special Olympics USA Games, participated in Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving where 100% of the profits benefited the Games being held in Orlando this June. The Special Olympics offers opportunities for athletes eight years and older with physical or intellectual disabilities to compete in a variety of sports. The 2022 Games will feature 4,000 athletes, 10,000 volunteers, and 125,000 fans.

The proceeds from all meals ordered from Jersey Mike’s on their Day of Giving were donated to the Games. So, SM&P staff working from any of their multiple office locations or virtually from home were treated to a Jersey Mike’s lunch by the firm in support of this motivating and heartwarming event.

“I was proud to celebrate with Jersey Mike’s in their 12th Annual Day of Giving,” said attorney Taylor Dudley. “Today was my first time dining with Jersey Mike’s, but it won’t be my last. I’m also proud to be a part of a law firm that supports the local community in the courtroom and beyond!” Taylor enjoyed a portabella chicken cheesesteak sub.

“It was my first time as well,” said client relations director Victoria Turney, “and I, too, will go again.”

“I read that about $20,000,000 was raised through this fundraiser,” said Mary Montgomery, the firm’s founding and managing partner. “We are delighted to have been a small part of this.”
