SM&P Supports Annual Latino Fest

For the community of Gainesville, the 6th annual Hispanic Alliance GA-La Alianza, Latino Fest, recently held in the Midway Greenway, was another success, said Stephany Garcia-Herrera, Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor Associate Attorney.

“The event gives back for local college scholarships for Latino youth through the efforts of cultural activities, music, food and sponsorship by local business and non-profits,” said Stephany, a Gainesville resident.

SM&P was excited to be a part of this event.  “As sponsors,” said Senior Paralegal Kristi Culpepper, “we were able to support the community at another level.” Kristi added her enjoyment of experiencing the rich culture of the Gainesville community, folklore, food and local artists, while sharing with the Hispanic community their legal rights in Family Law.

For Stephany, the Gainesville office was excited to be a part of the festivities and being able to share family law and facts for the Hispanic community.   “Many Latinos are not aware of their numerous rights, and we are happy to help them with any of their family law needs while also giving back to our Gainesville community.”

According to Yatziri Perez, Latino Fest coordinator, the vision of coming together as a community and providing scholarships supporting Latino youth in our area and now all of Georgia, is made possible thanks to supporters and sponsors!   “The event coordinator highlighted the success included the more than 5,000 attendees,” she added.
