Let Them Eat Pi!

On National Pi Day, March 14, SM&P employees at all branches recognized one of geometry’s most valuable players, Pi. The firm treated each of the staff to their own “pi,” baked and delivered by Smyrna, Georgia-based Kenny’s Great Pies.

The annual celebration recognizes the mathematical constant value, also known by the Greek letter “π,” used in math that represents the ratio of a circumference of a circle to its diameter, which is just about 3.14….15…9265359… and on to infinity. March 14 is also Albert Einstein’s birthday, so all together, it’s nothing short of a mathematician’s delight.

Christine Green, SM&P paralegal, said, “Any day that combines fun, education, and pie is a day worth celebrating!” According to account manager Stacy Johnson, “There seems to be a special day for everything.”
