Attorney Melanie Prehodka Named Partner
ATLANTA, GA, — The law firm of Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor is pleased to announce that attorney Melanie Prehodka (formerly Webre) is its newest partner. For more than 20 years, Melanie has worked diligently to represent thousands of men and women in family law matters in courts throughout the Atlanta metro area.
Mary Montgomery, SM&P’s founding and managing partner, described Melanie as “possessing all the qualities I admire in an attorney and a leader. She keeps her cool under pressure, works hard to successfully solve difficult problems, and demonstrates impeccable morals and ethics. In addition to her expertise and many abilities,” said Mary, “she is humble and even witty. She truly deserves this recognition. I am so appreciative to have her as a partner. It is a win for me, the SM&P team, our clients, and the community.”
Clients characterize Melanie as tenacious, thorough, patient, empathetic, and incredible in court. She possesses a pedigreed resume, years of family law experience, and the best human and professional characteristics all melded into one tough advocate and concerned and caring counselor. It is no wonder she has been enthusiastically welcomed as a partner at SM&P.
The enthusiasm is mutual. “Since I began working at SM&P,” Melanie said, “I have admired the commitment to teamwork here. Everyone on the staff wants to see clients succeed. I am humbled to have been chosen as a partner at SM&P and look forward to the firm’s continued growth.”
Melanie heads up the new Canton office. “When we realized our many clients from this area would appreciate the added convenience of having us nearby, we pursued it with enthusiasm,” said Melanie. “I look forward to serving current and new clients there.”
