March 2021 Newsletter

This month, we continued to cope with Covid amidst the colder and rainier February. On the positive side, a cooperative Georgia groundhog, General Beauregard Lee from Jackson, has forecasted an early Spring. One can only hope.

But an entire year of pandemic challenges has not stopped us from moving forward to serve our clients.

One way we’ve offered clients more options to conveniently receive legal services is through the opening of another office, this time in Gainesville, located downtown near Hall County’s judicial buildings. Read about attorney Judy Sartain, who will be directing operations there, and the resources available under her leadership.

Let us remind you of our new Alpharetta location at 11790 Northfall Lane, Unit 403, led by partner Randy Sabatini and his staff.

In the last few months, several talented attorneys have joined our staff. While serving the needs of the metro Atlanta area, they bring a great deal of experience and knowledge to the current team at SM&P. Meet Benjamin Myler (Marietta), and Haley Willis (Fayetteville).

Benjamin Myler

As of December, Benjamin Myler is part of the Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor team. Ben joined SM&P because he loves trial work and wants to use his skills there to be of value to clients. “I believe that, as attorneys, we have a duty to help others. Family law best provides that opportunity,” he said. Combining his passion for trial with a devotion to clients makes him a good fit to represent a person facing divorce and child custody issues.

Haley Willis

Attorney Haley Willis has joined the Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor team. Two of the personality and character traits most valued in a good attorney include a strong work ethic and adaptability to changing circumstances. Hallie Willis proved herself capable of both, judging from her ability to work demanding jobs while excelling in school. Throughout college at Georgia Tech and law school at UGA, she arranged her classes around retail shifts, organic farm labor, and other odd jobs.
