Choose Experience. Get Resolution.

November brought us warm, fall days mixed in with chilly days heralding the winter to come. We counted our blessings in preparation for the December holidays and the new year racing toward us. Despite the busyness of the season, our Atlanta area law offices continued and will continue to help clients move forward with their cases and lives.

Our attorney spotlight this month is a double feature. Learn more about the stellar qualifications held by Judy Sartain and Anne Thompson de Magaña. Also, read about their recognition as 2021 Georgia Legal Elites.

Find out who at SM&P was recognized this year with a Pro Bono Award for hours of service to low-income families in our communities. You probably won’t be surprised when you see who it is.

Judy Sartain was once again invited to speak to the UGA Family Law Society. She delighted the group not just with her helpful advice but with an early holiday gift.

Throughout the month of November, various veteran activities found employees partaking in volunteer efforts. One of our own veterans, Victoria Turney, attended a recognition luncheon and volunteered at the Veterans Day Parade in Marietta this year as recognition and support were given to local veterans, school bands, the drill efforts of the local JROTC units, and more.

Members of the SM&P crew were also seen at a fundraiser for Judge Ann Harris, Cobb County Superior Court. Take a look at the camaraderie they enjoyed there.

All our offices will be closed for Christmas, December 23 and 24, so that our staff can enjoy time with their friends and families. We will also be closed on December 31.
