Jarvis Johnson

Associate Attorney

Jarvis G. Johnson brings over 20 years of legal experience to Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor, with a dedicated focus on family law. As an empathetic and client-centered attorney, Jarvis is committed to guiding individuals through the challenges of divorce, child custody, and other domestic matters with a focus on fairness and long-term solutions.

As a resident of South Fulton County, Jarvis believes in the benefits of having an attorney that specializes in family law to guide them through the law and specific legal procedures and requirements.

His unique understanding of the emotional and legal complexities his clients face, shaped by his professional background and personal experiences as a parent and a product of divorce has been a cornerstone of his success. His clients have noted his high level of relatability and deep sense of empathy, ensuring every client feels supported and heard.

Before joining SM&P, he spent 13 years advocating for fathers at a domestic litigation firm, where he gained invaluable experience representing clients in hearings, mediations, and trials across Georgia. He has conducted thousands of consultations and is recognized for his ability to connect with clients and craft strategies tailored to their unique situations.

Being a military dependent, and traveling for most of his young life, his family settled in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Deciding to stay in Georgia, Jarvis attended the University of Georgia and the Georgia State University College of Law. Jarvis and his family enjoy exercising and traveling abroad to different countries. According to Jarvis, when he has time, he also enjoys reading fantasy and adventure novels and playing the occasional video game.
