Position: Probate Attorney

Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Work Location: In Office - Hybrid

Job Description:

Stearns-Montgomery and Proctor, a probate and family law firm, with offices in Marietta, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Buckhead, Savannah, Gainesville, and Fayetteville, seeks a staff attorney eager to expand their knowledge handling probate and family law cases. Successful candidates will have an interest primarily in probate. Excellent opportunity to join an expanding law firm as a staff attorney and work directly with an experienced attorney/partner.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have a Georgia State Bar License in good standing
  • Must have two (2) years of experience practicing law. Probate and family law experience is helpful.
  • Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be prepared to present a current writing sample (ideally, in letter form).
  • Spanish language skills a plus.

Experience:

  • Probate law: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Family law: 2 years (a plus)

License/Certification:

  • Bar license for Georgia (Required)
