Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor is proud to announce that Katherine Knudsen has joined the firm as of the middle of June. She brings a strong knowledge of family law, as she has been working in the legal industry since she was 18.
At Kennesaw State University, Kate received an unprecedented eleven Mock Trial Outstanding Attorney awards, and then was awarded a scholarship while attending Mississippi College of Law from the Litigation Section of the Mississippi State Bar Association.
Clients describe Kate as an excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail – an advocate who will help them achieve the best possible outcome. She added, “Working as a paralegal taught me the value and importance of clear communication between client and attorney, a skill that I apply every day as I help clients work through this complex and emotional process.”
When she is not practicing law, Kate likes to spend time outdoors with her family hiking, kayaking and camping. She is also an Adjunct Professor of Political Science and mock trial team coach at Kennesaw State University.
