SM&P’s Danielle Davis attended the nonprofit National Black Arts Festival’s Gala this month at Flourish Atlanta. This annual benefit is known for its dynamic performances as well as a silent auction of distinctive items.
The NBAF is celebrated locally and nationally for its exceptional educational programs in music, dance, film, visual arts, theater, and the literary arts. “This organization helps identify talent and encourage creativity among young people of diverse ethnic descent by creating educational outlets and promoting an environment of self -expression,” Danielle said. The 31-year-old nonprofit enjoys a legacy as the oldest multidisciplinary arts organization in the United States exclusively supporting the arts and artists of African ancestry.
“I have supported the NBAF for many years, from volunteering to donating,” said Danielle. “Funds raised at the Gala help sustain NBAF’s operations and many programs, including its signature Adopt-A-School Program.”
