Stearns-Montgomery & Proctor is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Teresa “Tracy” Crider as a partner in their family law firm headquartered in Marietta, Georgia. Tracy Crider joined the firm in January 2014 and quickly became a senior associate concentrating her practice in family law.
Mary Montgomery, founder and partner, says that “adding Tracy as a partner advances the firm’s status in the family law community and benefits [the firm employees] as [they] continue to grow and prosper. She brings an aggressive yet compassionate dynamic to our firm, and as a skilled family law attorney is a tremendous asset to our clients.” Mary also said, “Tracy epitomizes the diverse leadership and talent we have here. We are excited to have her as a partner and look forward to the firm’s continued growth.”
Tracy works at the Buckhead Atlanta, Georgia office. She has an extensive background in dealing with pensions, employee stock ownership plans, and complex military divorces. In addition, Tracy is knowledgeable in preparing Last Will and Testaments, Powers of Attorney, and Durable Health Care Powers of Attorney.
Tracy has been around the legal profession her entire life. She grew up in Warner Robbins where her mother was also an attorney. After graduating from the University of Georgia, School of Law, Tracy managed her mother’s firm for several years. She then went on to serve as a Warner Robbins Municipal Court Judge, which she feels has allowed her to provide a broader range of experience to her clients by knowing both sides of the bench.
