A native of South Florida, Patrick Evans moved to Georgia when he was seventeen years old. This move was prompted when his mother, a Miami Beach Police Officer, and his father, a Miami Beach Firefighter, retired and relocated the family to Blue Ridge, Georgia. Patrick spent his senior year of high school at Fannin County Senior High and graduated in 1998.

Following his graduation, Patrick attended the University of North Georgia, then North College College and State University, for four years. Patrick graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science. While at the University of North Georgia, Patrick was a member of the ROTC Corps of Cadets and helped found the school’s chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, serving as fraternity president his senior year.

Prior to graduating college, Patrick accepted a ROTC commission and after completing his degree he was commissioned a Lieutenant in the Army, Armor branch. Patrick underwent training at Ft. Knox and Ft. Benning before being sent to his duty station of Ft. Lewis, Washington. While at Ft. Lewis, Patrick served as a Scout Platoon Leader and then a Reconnaissance Troop Executive Officer. Patrick left the Army in 2006 to further his education. His military decorations include the Combat Action Badge, the Parachutist Badge, and the Purple Heart.

In 2007 Patrick completed a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of North Georgia. In 2008 Patrick enrolled at John Marshall Law School, and he graduated in 2011. Upon successfully passing the bar in 2011, Patrick began practicing in the field of Domestic Litigation and Family Law. Since he began practicing law Patrick has successfully represented clients in divorces, custody actions, motions for contempt, juvenile court matters, modification actions, and other areas of Family Law. Patrick has argued in counties all across the metro Atlanta area, and he has a strong grasp of how Family Law is applied in the State of Georgia. Patrick believes in directly confronting the problems facing his clients in order to get them the best resolution possible in the shortest time possible.

Patrick lives in Marietta with his wife, Sherri Evans. The two added to their family when their son, Patrick Riley Evans, was born in 2016. Their family is also comprised of their rescue dog, Bauer, and their cat, Cosmo.
