A Tallahassee, Florida native, Max Fishman moved to Atlanta to attend law school and has lived here ever since.
Prior to Stearns‑Montgomery & Proctor, Max gained experience practicing family and business law at another Atlanta firm. After gaining broad legal experience, Max decided to focus on family law. Joining the team at Stearns‑Montgomery & Proctor was an easy choice.
"I already knew about the firm's great reputation in the Atlanta community," Max commented. "After meeting Mary and the other attorneys, I knew I wanted to be a part of this team."
Max has a passion for family law, and he understands the importance of adhering to his client’s needs and concerns. Clients have commented on his attention to detail—leaving no stone unturned. Max also uses his business law experience to help clients protect their business interests in complex divorce cases.
Hard work and dedication to his clients and their goals pays off. Max was recognized as a Georgia Legal Elite in 2016.
Max and his wife, Emily, reside in Atlanta and enjoy working on their century-old home. Max is a music lover and enjoys attending concerts and exploring other music venues. Max is also a health and fitness enthusiast. He enjoys hiking both for fun and fitness. You can often find him on North Georgia trails or in a kayak.
